How do I make green whipped icing to resemble grass?
To create a grassy effect on top of your dirt cups, make a simple green whipped icing using my Whipped Icing recipe and simply dye it green. Transfer to a piping bag using a grass tip (Wilton #233) for the grass!

Fun Add-Ins
-
Gummy worms for a "muddy garden" effect
-
Shredded coconut dyed green (if you prefer a different "grass" texture)
-
Mini chocolate chips for extra crunch
Variations and Substitutions
- Dairy-Free Version: Use dairy-free pudding mix and substitute almond, oat, or coconut milk for regular milk.
- Fruity Twist: Swap Peeps and candy eggs for strawberries or raspberries.
- Different Cookies: Try chocolate graham crackers or gluten-free Oreos for a twist.
- Nutty Crunch: Add crushed peanut butter cups or a drizzle of Nutella for extra flavor.
- Cake Version: Instead of pudding, layer with chocolate cake crumbs and whipped cream for a trifle-style dessert!
