Ingredients
15.25 oz white cake mix (plus ingredients as per package directions)
6 oz raspberry jello mix
6 oz lime jello mix
2 cups boiling water, divided
8 oz whipped topping, thawed
Christmas sprinkles, for decoration
Directions
Bake the Cake: Preheat your oven and bake the white cake mix according to the package instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
Prepare the Jello: In two separate bowls, mix 1 cup of boiling water with the raspberry jello mix and 1 cup of boiling water with the lime jello mix. Stir until fully dissolved and combined.
Poke Holes in the Cake: Using the end of a wooden spoon or a similar utensil, poke holes throughout the cooled cake.
Add the Jello: Alternating rows, pour the raspberry jello into two rows of holes, then pour the lime jello into the next two rows. Repeat until the jello is used up.
Chill the Cake: Place the cake in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to allow the jello to set slightly.
Add Topping: Remove the cake from the refrigerator and spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the top. Decorate with Christmas sprinkles for a festive touch.
Final Chill: Return the cake to the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours to set completely.
Serve: Use a sharp knife to cut the cake into squares and enjoy this festive delight!
